We could not carry out our work with Young people on The Lizard without the help of our team of dedicated Volunteers.

Do you have a few spare hours to share occasionally? Would you enjoy sharing your talent, skill, experience or time with young people? We are always glad to welcome new members to our team who deliver quality out of school hours learning and social opportunities to young people all over the The Lizard Peninsular, offering a wide range of activities, after school clubs, residential camps and outings.

(All applicants subject to CRB check, interview & screening. Expenses paid. Training available)

Upcoming volunteering opportunities

SUMMER HOLIDAYS - ANNUAL CITY & SEA EXCHANGE Volunteers will get the chance to take part in a range of exciting activities and day trips when local young people host visitors from London at The Youth Hostel, Lizard Point for a thoroughly enjoyable week.

SEPTEMBER 3RD OR 10TH - CHYVARLOE NATIONAL TRUST CENTRE Overnight residential trip for up to 12 year 6 pupils with Activities day in a beautiful setting.

AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS A range of after school clubs and lunchtime clubs will be offered to primary schools on The Lizard from September of this year, the sessions usually last for just over an hour and run for between 1 to 6 weeks. They include: - Tennis, Lacrosse, Football, Modelling, Knitting & Fashion design.
