• ABCMF ( Archbishops Council Mission Fund), Truro provided a grant to support the appointment of a youth worker in 2007. • The Jerusalem Trust (SFCT) provided laptops for key workers (2007) • The Rank Foundation funded 6 Tall Ships voyages (2007) • The Joseph Rank Trust, under the Youth or Adult? Initiative awarded a 5-year grant for a youth worker. (2007) • The J.Paul Getty Jr. Charitable Trust grant provides office accommodation (2007-9). Since 1998, this Charitable Trust has co-funded the boatbuilding, training for the boatbuilding tutor and acted as a valued Critical Friend offering wise advice and encouragement. • The Headley Trust (SFCT) co-funded the boatbuilding in 1998. Since this time it has also been an invaluable Critical Friend, and is currently providing a 3-year grant to enable LOT to increase its capacity by employing key workers. • The Joseph Rank Trust under the Youth or Adult? Initiative is funding the 5-year placement of a youth worker, from August 2007. Their investment includes conference and considerable Critical Friend support. It also opens the doors to Tall Ships voyages and Outward Bounds Expeditions.
